It's tipoff time, and the public is invited to celebrate publication of The Audacity of Hoop with light food and drink in Middlebury's storied Municipal Gym at the corner of Routes 125 and 30, just east of the Middlebury College campus. The Vermont Book Shop will sell books, author Alex Wolff will sign them, and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Everybody Wins! reading mentoring program at Mary Hogan School and the Middlebury Recreation Department's scholarship fund. Sneakers encouraged.
